Gory Dreadful Candle Co. LLC is a small family-owned business located in Texas. We create luxury candles with premium ingredients featuring macabre, oddities and horror aesthetics. We often sculpt our own designs, and make our own product molds in addition to utilizing molds of traditional and trending favorites. All of our products are handmade, and thoroughly tested and inspected for quality and safety.

Currently, our candle production occurs seasonally and only in micro batches. We offer a limited amount of wholesale products and custom orders upon request. Although we produce on a small scale, we take pride in our quality craftsmanship and love sharing our spooky scented art with you!

About Our Ingredients

Phthalate Free - Cruelty Free Testing - BPA-free Packaging

Our curated luxury fragrances and unique wax blends are sourced from the best candle suppliers on the market. Each scent is formulated by master perfumers with the finest fragrance and essential oils blended from around the globe. Our signature candles are color-free and are a blend of natural premium ingredients. Some of our specialty candles have added safe-burning colorant wax, cosmetic-grade or food-safe additives for aesthetic effect. We make our own sprinkles, toppings and wax-washes out of safe-burning waxes. We also offer unscented candles in each type of our waxes.

Coco Apricot Crème: This luxurious container wax is a vegan blend of natural apricot and coconut, with a miniscule amount of highly refined food-grade paraffin wax. Coco Apricot Crème provides an excellent fragrance throw (both warm and cold). This wax exhibits an excellent evenness of burn and wax consumption.

Virgin Coconut Soy: This luxury container wax is a vegan blend of natural soy and coconut, with a minuscule amount of highly refined food-grade paraffin wax. Virgin Coconut Soy provides an excellent fragrance throw (both warm and cold), as well as exhibits an evenness of burn and wax consumption.

Beeswax Coco Crème: This premium container wax is a luxury blend of renewably sourced beeswax, coconut, soy, and palm waxes. Beeswax Coco Crème provides an excellent fragrance throw (both warm and cold). This blend exhibits a slow even burn and wax consumption.

Pure Beeswax: This natural and premium wax is used in our pillars, wax sculptures, votives, and tealights. 100% Beeswax burns slower, brighter, and with a warmer flame color than most other waxes. It also burns longer and cleaner than other waxes. It is generally considered drip-free. Beeswax provides an excellent fragrance throw (both warm and cold).

ParaSoy Blend: We use this proprietary paraffin and soy wax blend for its harder solidity to make wax melts and other molded candles. ParaSoy Blend provides an excellent fragrance throw (both warm and cold).

For some products, we blend a combination of the above waxes to obtain the perfect consistency for the wax to form and burn optimally.

Wooden Wicks: We source our patented wooden wicks directly from the inventor of the original Wooden Wick, Wooden Wick, Co., the exclusive worldwide manufacturer.

Cotton Wicks: Our CD (Stabilo) Candle Wicks are flat braided cotton wicks with paper threads woven into the cotton. The reinforced construction of the wick is designed to ensure a consistent burn with higher fragrance loads.

Pre-Waxed Cotton Slim Wicks: These wicks are 100% cotton and used often in some of our smaller products to ensure that glass containers don’t overheat, and that pillars don’t ‘tunnel’ or leak out the sides of the candles.

All of our wicks are lead-free, zinc-free, metallic-free, and dye-free.
